Welcome to the Iowa Events Center, the premiere event space in the Midwest. The Iowa Events Center offers three unique facilities (EMC Expo Center, Community Choice Convention Center, and Wells Fargo Arena) that combine to offer flexible, dynamic spaces for your meetings, expos, banquets, and more.

Facility Overview
The Iowa Events Center is a unique combination of three venues under one roof: Wells Fargo Arena, EMC Expo Center, and Community Choice Convention Center. The complex is flexible to meet the needs of events of all types and sizes. The perfect space for conventions, meetings, tradeshows, sporting, social, and entertainment events from 10–17,000 people.
Level 1 - Junior Ballroom
A new 10,560-square-foot Junior Ballroom can be divided into three separate ballrooms. Around the corner, an additional 14,000 square feet of meeting space consisting of eight individual rooms or combined to create three large meeting rooms. Within these 8 rooms, two sets of 8' x 8' double doors on permanent walls open to create a continuous exhibit space.
Level 2 - Exhibit Hall
150,000 square feet of contiguous exhibition space broken up into three separate halls of approximately 50,000 square feet each with 16,400 square feet of pre-function space. Drive-on access and ten covered loading docks with levelers.
Level 3 - Meeting Room Level
50,000 square feet of space utilizing state-of-the-art, operable airwalls with the flexibility to create 21 individual rooms or a combination of settings to accommodate up to 200 10’x10’ exhibits. 8 projectors displaying 30’x16’ imagery throughout the Grand Concourse. Located on the same level as the attached hotel and indoor skywalk system.
Level 4 - The Grand Ballroom
Iowa’s largest ballroom at 28,800 square feet accommodates over 3,000 guests and is divisible by two. Customize the room to fit your theme with our LED accent lighting. An additional 14,000 square feet of pre-function space can be used for cocktail hour, buffet lines, vendors, and more.
