Raul Murillo is a seasoned Executive Sous Chef with 26 years of culinary experience. He has been instrumental in leading large-scale annual events at the Iowa Events Center for over 18 years. Raul’s culinary expertise spans a diverse array of cuisines, including Mexican, American, French, and Indian, showcasing his ability to prepare and cook multi-cultural foods. Fluent in multiple languages, Raul's bilingual skills enhance his ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within a diverse team.

Kieran Lyall- Sous Chef Wells Fargo Arena

Kieran Lyall is a skilled Sous Chef with six years of experience at the Iowa Events Center. His role shifted to the Wells Fargo Arena Premium Level the summer of 2023, where he plays a pivotal role in menu development, creating fire and prep lists for premium and backstage catering, and managing orders. He has been instrumental in revamping Premium Seating menus and introducing innovative dishes to The Fort. One of Kieran’s strengths is his creativity with food, which allows him to continually innovate and elevate the menu offerings.

Dave Farlow is a seasoned Sous Chef with 14 years of culinary experience. Starting as a prep cook, he has steadily progressed through various kitchen roles at the Iowa Events Center through his versatility and commitment in culinary arts. Dave's strong work ethic, adaptability, and broad culinary expertise make him a valuable asset to any kitchen. He is passionate about food, enjoys exploring new culinary experiences, and fosters a positive team environment.

OVG Hospitality manages concessions throughout the Iowa Events Center. Our Concessions team in conjunction with our Catering Sales and Culinary teams work together to bring the best items to your event. Along with traditional concession stands, we offer portable stands with diverse selections ranging from tacos, deli sandwiches, BBQ, ice cream, and more!

What types of food and beverages services do you offer?

We offer a range of services including, but not limited to, catering for banquets, buffet setups, coffee breaks, and custom menu planning.  We have an array of options with bar service including liquor, beer, kegs, wine, and custom signature cocktails for any event that may need those services.

Can we provide our own food and beverages?

We provide in-house catering services. Outside food and beverages are not permitted unless special arrangements are made.

Can you accommodate special dietary needs and allergies?
