Near Field Communication (NFC)
-
Starting July 1, 2024, we will be utilizing Near Field Communication (NFC) technology for all ticketed events (excluding the Iowa Barnstormers for the 2024 season). Your smartphone has NFC technology built within it that stores your ticket in the form of an NFC pass using either Apple Wallet or Google Pay.
Prior to visiting Wells Fargo Arena, download your mobile tickets and save them in your mobile wallet. Your event ticket will not have a QR code. If you purchased multiple tickets for a group, everyone would have to enter the venue together or the ticketholder will need to transfer them to those in your group. Fans will not be able to use photographs or screenshots of NFC tickets to gain entry to the venue. Visit our Mobile Tickets page to learn how to transfer your tickets.
When you arrive at the event, simply “tap” and hold your smartphone to the NFC sensor to scan your ticket. If you have multiple tickets, swipe over and scan the next ticket(s). The scanner will turn green when the scan is successful. If the scanner turns red, visit with an Usher for further instruction. Once successfully scanned, you can enter the venue and enjoy the event.
