Des Moines Home + Garden Show Brings Together Romance and Home Renovation with HGTV Stars Chelsea and Cole DeBoer

DES MOINES, Iowa (January 13, 2025) — Love is in the air — and in the home — as The Des Moines Home and Garden Show returns to the Iowa Events Center on Valentine’s Day weekend, February 13 - 16, 2025. Headlining this year’s event are the beloved stars of HGTV’s Down Home Fab, Chelsea and Cole DeBoer. Known for transforming houses into homes with heart, the DeBoers bring their signature style, charm, and relationship goals to the stage, offering attendees a rare glimpse into how they balance creative home renovations, running a thriving business, raising four kids, and keeping their romance alive.
Chelsea DeBoer first gained fame on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant, where viewers followed her journey as a young mother. Since then, she has shifted her career focus to entrepreneurship and home design alongside her husband. On-screen, Cole brings his building expertise to each project, working closely with Chelsea to turn clients' visions into reality. The couple also owns a brick-and-mortar home decor store.
“Our goal is to inspire people to make their homes a place they truly love, a place where they can celebrate life together,” said Chelsea DeBoer. “We’re excited to be a part of such a vibrant, long-standing event in Des Moines and to share our passion for home design.”
The DeBoers will appear at the show’s Rose Farm Inspiration Stage on Friday, February 14 at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 15 at noon.
The Des Moines Home + Garden Show, now in its 47th year, aims to inspire Iowans with fresh ideas for home projects, opportunities to shop and compare pricing, as well as exclusive access to firsthand advice from industry experts. Attendees can get an early taste of spring while exploring multiple feature gardens created by top local landscapers showcasing the latest trends, plus popular features like pools and waterfalls.
The Made in Iowa Market will showcase products from Iowa artisans, giving visitors the chance to shop handcrafted items while supporting local businesses. The Rose Farm Inspiration Stage, sponsored by Karri Rose, owner of Rose Farms in Norwalk, offers hands-on workshops and engaging presentations, from pie-making and floral design to stories of how Rose built her modern-day farmstead.
