Part-Time Beverage Supervisor
DESCRIPTION
The Beverage Supervisor assists the Beverage Manager with overseeing set-up and teardown, staffing, product and supplies as it relates to beverages for catered events. With direction from Beverage Manager and/or AGM, oversees serving of alcoholic beverages during catered events.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises beverage staff during catered events at the direction of Beverage Manager or AGM
- Oversees the service of beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages
- Ensures staff members check guest’s ID’s to verify minimum age requirement and are serving beverages responsibly in accordance with local/state/federal regulations
- Provides a professional presence for guests / clients during events and responds appropriately to requests

Part-Time Building Attendant
DESCRIPTION
The part time Building Attendant is an event-driven support position that works in the areas of housekeeping, show care, room sets, event teardown, arena conversions, and grounds maintenance at the Iowa Events Center.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set-up and teardown of events as directed including staging, tables, chairs, pipe-and-drape, skirting and other event items as required for events in Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center, Hy-Vee Hall, Wells Fargo Arena and all other areas of the facility
- Work individually and as a team to complete required projects and tasks contributing to a professional, teamwork atmosphere

Part-Time Concessions Cashier
DESCRIPTION
The Concessions Cashier prepares and serves concession items to guests. Prepares and pours beverages and serves them to guests. Ensures quality of food presentation. Uses a POS (point of sale system) and accepts payment. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct sales by taking orders, building orders, and completing the transaction
- Ability to build orders, prepare food, and knowledge in all areas of concessions operations
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work space including but not limited to disposal of garbage & cleaning dishes
- Serve beverages to guests including alcoholic beverages responsibly. Must check guest’s ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for purchase of alcoholic beverages

Part-Time Concessions Cook
DESCRIPTION
The Concessions Cook is responsible for prep work and cooking hot food items in the Concessions Department. Position assists with set-up, dishes and responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized work space in accordance with company specifications. Part-Time Guest Services Event Staff
DESCRIPTION
A Guest Service Attendant is an on-call, per event employee who will act as primary provider of direct service to guests as they are entertained at the Iowa Events Center. They are responsible for providing a safe environment for our guests and ensuring all service needs are met. Guest Service Attendants will work in positions as needed including; usher, ticket taker, suite staff and door guards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and scan tickets as guests enter the building amd usher guests to their seats
- Provide directional assistance to guests throughout the facility
- Report actual/suspected violations of IEC policies, procedures, rules or regulations to your supervisor
- Complete an incident report on a timely basis, as required

Part-Time Parking Lot Attendant
DESCRIPTION
Parking Attendant is an on-call, per event employee who assists in direction of customers in and around the Iowa Events Center parking lots during events. This position is responsible for handling a high volume of cash and credit transactions in a responsible manner. This employee must have excellent attendance to ensure the success of the Parking Department during events held at the Iowa Events Center.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and direct customers entering parking lots, communicate parking information to the public
- Accept cash or credit payment. Count back correct change as needed
- Monitor lot during events, immediately contacting supervisor as issues arise
- Provide positive and friendly experience to all customers

Part-Time Warehouse Worker
DESCRIPTION
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for the receipt and storage of all food, beverage and related product and equipment received at Iowa Events Center in Wells Fargo Arena. The inventory and security of all items is under the control of these employees. Employees must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work an event based schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain accurate delivery and inventory records
- Ensure that all items are received and placed in their storage location at the proper temperature
- Check all incoming items against purchase order sheets checking details such as weight count, quality, and specification
- Deliver items according to concession stands and place inventory in a proper fashion using the FIFO method of rotation (First-In-First-Out)

Partnerships & Premium Seating Coordinator
DESCRIPTION
The Partnerships & Premium Seating Coordinator is responsible for supporting the partnerships team by assisting in the execution of sponsorships, assisting in the day-of-event premium seating experience, and helping to maintain and grow client relationships to help achieve department revenue goals.

- Communicate with annual Suite, Loge Box, and Club Seat Holders and Event Rental clients to increase revenue through ticket additions, food and beverage packages, and merchandise add-ons

- Support the Director of Partnerships by designing proposals, developing digital assets, and executing sponsorship deliverables.

Operations Supervisor
DESCRIPTION
The Operations Supervisor assumes management responsibility for all services and activities involved in the operations of all arena and convention spaces; providing direct supervision of all full time and part time hourly employees in the Operations Department, specifically in the areas of housekeeping, room sets, show care and conversions at the Iowa Events Center.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review, interpret and communicate with other management staff on complex event documents to forecast staffing and equipment needs for all arena and convention events
- Coordinate and communicate a complex department schedule to ensure proper facility coverage, monitoring labor costs
- Coach, evaluate, mentor employees to correct deficiencies; present / discuss discipline procedures timely
- Oversee, direct, monitor changeover and housekeeping crews, providing team support
