Part-Time Back of House Lead
DESCRIPTION
the Back of House Lead supports the Catering Department and is responsible for all back of house (BOH) areas including cleaning, organization and set-up before, during and after events. This position is responsible for reviewing Banquet Event Orders pulling and staging all equipment based on these documents prior to event set-up; and ensure the catering / banquet equipment is maintained, stored and inventoried.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and oversee a clean and organized back of house area to support the Catering operation.
- Responsible for the overall back of house areas cleanliness, organization, and team task productivity.
- Writing prep sheets for upcoming events.
- Maintains consistent communication with managers on assignments, productivity and task completion.
- Independently review complex Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and make decisions based on the information, including forecasting and pulling & setting-up upcoming needed equipment.

Part-Time Banquet Server
DESCRIPTION
The Catering Server is responsible for serving guests in the venue dining areas at catered functions. The Catering Server must be personable, professional, and able to work in an ever-changing fast-paced environment. As a perk to the role, staff are supplied with meals for most meal functions, as long as there are meals available.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellent in the areas of guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards.
- Must demonstrate ability to read and comprehend Banquet Event Orders when servicing a guest event for the purpose of setting up guest events with proper linen, dishware, glassware, flatware; executing service on the contracted event menu & event timeline.
- Responsible for serving meals to guests or replenishing food for buffet service.

Part-Time Building Attendant
DESCRIPTION
The part time Building Attendant is an event-driven support position that works in the areas of housekeeping, show care, room sets, event teardown, arena conversions, and grounds maintenance at the Iowa Events Center.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set-up and teardown of events as directed including staging, tables, chairs, pipe-and-drape, skirting and other event items as required for events in Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center, Hy-Vee Hall, Wells Fargo Arena and all other areas of the facility
- Work individually and as a team to complete required projects and tasks contributing to a professional, teamwork atmosphere

Part-Time Concessions Cashier
DESCRIPTION
The Concessions Cashier prepares and serves concession items to guests. Prepares and pours beverages and serves them to guests. Ensures quality of food presentation. Uses a POS (point of sale system) and accepts payment. Must be able to maintain excellent attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct sales by taking orders, building orders, and completing the transaction
- Ability to build orders, prepare food, and knowledge in all areas of concessions operations

Part-Time Concessions Cook
DESCRIPTION
The Concessions Cook is responsible for prep work and cooking hot food items in the Concessions Department. Position assists with set-up, dishes and responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized work space in accordance with company specifications. Part-Time Guest Services Event Staff
DESCRIPTION
A Guest Service Attendant is an on-call, per event employee who will act as primary provider of direct service to guests as they are entertained at the Iowa Events Center. They are responsible for providing a safe environment for our guests and ensuring all service needs are met. Guest Service Attendants will work in positions as needed including; usher, ticket taker, suite staff and door guards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and scan tickets as guests enter the building amd usher guests to their seats
- Provide directional assistance to guests throughout facility
- Report actual/suspected violations of IEC policies, procedures, rules or regulations to your supervisor
- Complete an incident report on a timely basis, as required

Part-Time Parking Lot Attendant
DESCRIPTION
Parking Attendant is an on-call, per event employee who assists in direction of customers in and around the Iowa Events Center parking lots during events. This position is responsible for handling a high volume of cash and credit transactions in a responsible manner. This employee must have excellent attendance to ensure the success of the Parking Department during events held at the Iowa Events Center.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and direct customers entering parking lots, communicate parking information to the public
- Accept cash or credit payment. Count back correct change as needed
- Monitor lot during events, immediately contacting supervisor as issues arise
- Provide positive and friendly experience to all customers

Part-Time Parking Supervisor
DESCRIPTION
Parking Supervisor will assist the Parking Manager in daily operations of all Iowa Events Center parking locations. Position is responsible for various administrative duties and ensuring staff has appropriate knowledge and tools for customer service focus and efficient operations.

- Assist with day to day supervision of part time Parking Attendants
- Organize, prepare and distribute work schedules for staffing specific event needs
- Track attendance of staff according to Attendance Policy; promptly notify Manager/HR when warnings are needed

Part-Time Warehouse Associate
DESCRIPTION
The warehouse associate is responsible for the receipt and storage of all food, beverage and related product and equipment received at Iowa Events Center in Wells Fargo Arena. The inventory and security of all items is under the control of these employees. Employees must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work an event based schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Checks all incoming items against purchase order sheets checking details such as weight count, quality, and specification
- Ensures that all items are received and placed in their storage location at the proper temperature
- Requires keeping all storage areas and inventory in neat, organized and sanitary condition as directed
- Deliver items according to requisitions and place inventory in a proper fashion using the FIFO method of rotation (First-In-First-Out)

DESCRIPTION
Partnerships & Premium Seating Coordinator is responsible for supporting the partnerships team by assisting in the execution of sponsorships, assisting in the day-of-event premium seating experience, and helping to maintain and grow client relationships to help achieve department revenue goals.
