The Iowa Events Center is a unique combination of three venues under one roof: Wells Fargo Arena, Hy-Vee Hall, and Community Choice Convention Center. The complex is flexible to meet the needs of events of all types and sizes. It is well-suited for conventions, meetings, tradeshows, sporting, social and entertainment events from 10,000–17,100 people.

Level 1 includes a Junior Ballroom, at 10,560 square feet, that is divisible by three. This level also contains 14,400 square feet of meeting space consisting of eight individual meeting rooms that can be combined to a maximum of three larger rooms. Also available are 7,300 square feet of pre-function space to host registration tables, vendors, receptions and buffets.

This level consists of 150,000 square feet of contiguous exhibition space that can be broken into three separate halls of approximately 50,000 square feet each. There is 16,400 square feet of pre-function space as well as drive-on access and ten covered loading docks with levelers for easy load-in.

Located on the same level as the downtown Skywalk system and on-site parking, this nearly 50,000 square foot space features up to 21 individual meeting rooms or a combination of specialized settings to create the ideal space. State-of-the-art operable airwalls allow the flexibility to open up this floor to accommodate up to 200-10'x10’ exhibit booths. Eight HD projectors located in the ceiling of the Grand Concourse can display static images, videos or full-motion integrated videos onto the meeting room airwalls with imagery as large as 30’ wide by 16’ tall.

This level is also home to Veterans Memorial Hall, a museum-like exhibit space that honors Iowa Veterans from many wars and battles, telling Iowans’ stories through pictures, letters, and articles.

A Mezzanine Level, directly above Memorial Hall, houses four executive board rooms ideal for smaller meetings.

This level is home to Iowa’s largest ballroom at 28,800 square feet, divisible by two. An elegant cloud ceiling with colorful LED accent lighting and twinkle lights offers millions of lighting options to fit the theme or mood of any event. An additional 14,032 square feet of pre-function space can be utilized for cocktail receptions, food stations, vendors and more. Two meeting rooms flank either side of this pre-function space.
